Pay Rate: $77.00 to $80.00/hr

Contract: 13 Weeks

About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Wrangell Alaska. This role supports Emergency Department and ambulatory care services and requires strong clinical judgment emergency response skills and the ability to provide safe patient-centered care across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency and ambulatory care patients.

• Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care needs.

• Respond calmly and effectively in urgent and emergent situations.

• Administer medications treatments and nursing interventions as ordered.

• Monitor patient condition and identify changes requiring immediate action.

• Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams.

• Provide patient and family education discharge instructions and emotional support.

• Document patient care accurately using Cerner.

• Support safe care delivery infection control and facility protocols.

Requirements

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license required.

• BLS certification required.

• PALS certification required upon hire.

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

• Emergency Room or ambulatory care experience preferred.

• Cerner experience preferred.

• Must have flu vaccination.

• Two fingerprint cards must be submitted immediately upon acceptance.

• Traveler must live at least 50 miles from the facility.

• Holiday coverage required.

• Strong assessment communication critical thinking and emergency response skills required.
