Join Our Team as an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse – Make a Difference in Cancer Care!

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology or ambulatory care settings
  • Current California RN license (or applicable state license)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Proficiency in interpreting laboratory results, medication reconciliation, vital signs, and patient histories
  • Experience with specimen collection techniques including phlebotomy, throat swabs, and urine samples
  • Ability to set up and assist with sterile and aseptic procedures
  • Strong communication skills, including telephone triage and care coordination
  • Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with psychosocial oncology, survivorship programs, or integrative oncology
  • Knowledge of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer services
  • Skills in patient education related to fertility preservation and sexual health
  • Additional certifications in oncology or specialized nursing fields
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working with cancer patients in outpatient settings
  • Knowledge of holistic and supportive care approaches for oncology patients
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work daytime hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Must be flexible to work with a multidisciplinary team supporting psychosocial, rehabilitative, and integrative oncology services
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development
