Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: West Hollywood, CA Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,289 per week Shift: Days – 3 days x 12 hours (1900-0730) – float pool across ICU, Med-Surg, Tele, PCU, Overflow PACU, Stepdown Contract: 13 weeks – start date 7/13/2026 Job Summary ICU/critical care RN will provide advanced patient care, perform complex procedures, and float across multiple units as needed. Nurses must maintain CA RN license and required certifications and possess arterial line experience. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in ICU and associated float units (Med-Surg, Tele, PCU, Overflow PACU, Stepdown). Perform arterial line placement and management, central line care, chest tube assistance, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, suctioning, EKG acquisition, BP monitoring, etc. Administer blood products, continuous IV paralytics and sedatives, vasoactive infusions. Interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and manage cardiac drips. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, infection prevention, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols. Adhere to all unit policies and hospital protocols. Qualifications Active California RN license (no pending or temporary). Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience, preferably 400-bed or larger facility. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN (preferred). Proficient with Epic charting system. Arterial line experience required. Experience with Swan‑Ganz monitoring, ICP monitoring, high-flow nasal cannula, and other ICU tech skills listed above. Availability for 3×12-hour shifts, 0–2 RTO, and weekend coverage (minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week contract).
