Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Staten Island, NY

Position Summary Drive demand for BMS medicines within the Cardiovascular portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label. Serve as primary field point of contact for regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs; build and maintain scientific credibility. Liaise cross-functionally to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products and business performance objectives. Field-based role; significant time spent with external customers. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets; create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow product/TA scientific expertise; develop and implement territory/account plans; use SOPHIA for insights/call planning; provide tool feedback to leadership. Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources/publications for accurate medical information; conduct in-office presentations consistent with label; organize external speaker programs; maintain emerging data expertise; use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share customer insights internally. Required Qualifications Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse. Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately; build credibility with customers. Cardiovascular experience preferred. Account management and selling skills; proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals. Cross-functional effectiveness; positive, can-do attitude.
