If you are a dedicated professional with strong phlebotomy skills and a passion for patient care, this role is an excellent fit for your expertise.– Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, in a safe and accurate manner – Prepare and label specimens according to established procedures to ensure quality and reliability of lab testing – Verify patient demographic information and signatures, ensuring specimen labeling accuracy in the presence of the patient – Maintain proper documentation and records for all specimen collection activities – Demonstrate professionalism and create a trustworthy environment for patients by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort – Travel between multiple patient service centers and locations as needed, often requiring flexible hours including weekends and holidays – Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and dress code while promoting a positive image to patients and staff – Perform daily activities independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating leadership and process excellence– Proven phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, with a focus on accuracy and patient comfort – Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate openly and transparently with patients and team members – Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail – Proficiency in data entry and specimen documentation – Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record if traveling between sitesHigh school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred – Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington – 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, is required – Previous experience in a Patient Service Center environment is highly desirable – Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings from 5:30 am, with a schedule that includes occasional Saturdays (6:30 am to 1:30 pm) – Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting, with travel between multiple sites as scheduledThis is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled phlebotomist seeking a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with patient interaction across multiple healthcare locations.
