Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide exceptional support services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with educating patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation processes.
Effectively communicate patient status and any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state COTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong teamwork abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
