Full-Time Cake Decorators Wanted

Surez Bakery in Charlotte, NC is looking for full-time cake decorators to join our team. We are located on 4245 Park Rd. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, can work productively in a team setting, can reliably work scheduled shifts, and has experience decorating a large volume of cakes.

Skills Required

• The fundamentals of smooth icing
• Proficiency with piping bags and icing messages
• Piping borders and details
• Color matching and mixing
• Knowledge of mixing methods, and experience making icings and fillings
• Ability to work productively on a team

Responsibilities

• Arrive to scheduled shifts on time
• Complete assigned cake orders within the given deadlines and in a productive manner
• Make fillings and icings as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Decorate cakes according to our quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work station

Qualifications

• Experience decorating a large volume of cakes
• Experience working in kitchens or bakeries

Schedule

• Shifts are scheduled between the hours of 7am-5pm, Monday-Saturday, & 7am-4pm on Sundays
• Scheduling can be flexible

This will be a practical interview. Please come prepared with appropriate footwear and a hair covering

Total compensation includes an hourly base rate plus tips. Tips are paid out on a bi-weekly basis along with each paycheck.
