Private Duty Care And Va Nurse

We are currently seeking a registered nurse for our private duty care and va departments to cover in-home visits and to work with our healthy children & youth program performing assessments and reassessments. This position will be responsible for aide oversight visits and routine nursing visits; including medication set ups and maintaining the plane of care. In this rn role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients by providing high-quality care and support in the comfort of their own home. These services are either privately paid, funded by a long-term care insurance policy, or the va.

responsibilities:

• provide basic patient care: taking vitals, weekly medication management per physicians orders, monthly diabetic nails, monthly skin monitoring and bi yearly general health assessments
• opens new cases & obtains all related consents, documentation & deposits in accordance with company policy
• observes, records & reports reaction to treatment & any changes in client's condition to appropriate personnel and/or physician
• may supervise in home aides for advance personal care (apc) services
• provide instruction/ education on medication when needed.
• follow state approved care plan.
• attend quarterly nurse meetings
• good time management, detail oriented and self-starter

requirements:

• active registered nurse or licensed practical nurse license in the state of mo
• in home experience preferred
• strong organizational and self-management skills
• strong and compassionate customer service skills
• valid driver's license
