Field Technician

An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Technician will be responsible for installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential settings, but also in commercial environments. Flexible scheduling and hours Bonus potential and overtime Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations Speaking with the customer to upsell other products Providing the customer with system orientation as applicable Proper care and operation of company vehicles Ensuring there are proper inventory levels Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs Cleaning up all areas affected by the installation Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable Being on time for work and working the required hours; overtime may be necessary occasionally Keeping the truck clean and organized Trenching and general labor work Dressing appropriately; OLP shirts and hats will be provided; jeans/shorts for work days Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available Essential Skills & Attributes Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years) Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable meeting new people Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity Has technical ability Pays attention to detail and respects customers’ property Is systematic in approach Demonstrates a strong sense of pride and integrity in work product Education, Training, Experience High school diploma or GED Electrical experience Landscape experience Construction experience Outdoor Lighting Perspectives is an equal‑opportunity employer and supports a drug‑free workplace.
