The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a Mobile Crisis Case Manager - PT to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. TheMCCMwill work collaboratively with a team to providecrisiscare toclients inthe community.OurMCCMis responsible forproviding mobile mental health crisis and outreach servicesto Leavenworth, Atchison, and JeffersonCounties.MCCM’sare dedicated to resolving emergency situations by providing brief and intensive services with the goal of reducing the need for hospitalizationanddiverting from justice system contact. Weekends Required;Evenings Required (1+ days per week after 5 p);12p to 10p. Pay and Benefits: The opportunity to be part of a holistic and supportive team KPERS Retirement System 11 Paid Holidays (prorated) Flexible Schedules Competitive hourly compensation of $26.11 to $28.51, depending upon qualifications Primary Duties: RespondacrossLeavenworth,Atchisonand JeffersonCounty as part of a 2-person team, providing mobile crisis interventions to a variety of individuals in crisis.(Must be able to respond on site within one hour) Engaging individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis by building rapport, assessing motivation, and encouraging participation in services. Using a Strengths Based perspective to assess individuals' circumstances toidentifyneeds and/ordetermineresource eligibility. Initiate de-escalationprocedures whenappropriate,consistentwith MANDTand Mental Health First Aidprocedures. Maintain effective and cooperative workingrelationshipwith TGC staff as well as referral sources and community partnersthroughaccurate,timely, and professional communication. Adapt to changing work priorities and a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingprofessionalism Meet HIPAA standards for confidentiality of medical records Comply withTGC’s Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, rules, regulations, and standards of conduct relating to the Corporate CompliancePolicy.The employee understands that he/she has a duty and obligation to report any suspected violations of the Corporate Compliance Policy to the Corporate Compliance Officer or the Executive Director. Abide by the Personnel Policies and Practices of TGC, including ethical standards, as adopted by the Governing Board, and torepresentthe Center positively to the community. Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or TGC management staff.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Bachelor’sdegreerequired.Degree in Social Work, Psychology, orhuman service fieldpreferred.Equivalent work experience in the human services field, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education, with one year of experience substituting for one year of education, may be considered.
