About the Position

Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year current RRT experience License: NBRC Certification Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS Description: Travel RRT position available. The unit has 760 beds and 95 staff in Respiratory Therapy. Day shift consists of 20 full-time equivalents, while the night shift has 27 full-time equivalents. The unit handles various patient care needs, though specific ratios are not available. Equipment includes V800 Draeger vents, C1 Hamiltons, and Airvo for HHFNC. Electronic medical records are managed with Meditech. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of current RRT experience. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will have pediatric or pediatric intensive care unit experience. Strong ICU experience is also preferred. Typical procedures include respiratory care treatments and ventilator management, both invasive and non-invasive. Additional features include a Level 3 NICU and ECMO capabilities for adults.
