About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Interventional Radiology Technician Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: AART required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Scrub experience preferred - Ability to float between units/facilities Description: We are looking for an advanced Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. The role involves working with advanced technology, including a new biplane for our specialized neuro-interventional program. You will participate in a comprehensive stroke program that includes mechanical endovascular reperfusion procedures. The Interventional Radiology procedures include Y90 radioembolization, peripheral vascular intervention, kyphoplasty, and embolization procedures. Familiarity with interventional equipment such as IVUS, lasers, AngioJet, Jetstream, Shockwave, and Inari/Penumbra is essential. Travelers may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. You will always be notified before your scheduled shift if a float assignment is required. Dedicated support is provided by a Radiologic Technologist available for collaboration and assistance.
