Maintenance Technician - Part time

Part-Time Maintenance TechnicianSomerset Pacific is seeking a part-time energetic, experienced, multi-family property Maintenance Technician for our Rockwell Court property located in Rexburg, Idaho. The position is responsible for assisting in day-to-day and preventative maintenance of the apartment community. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and repair experience.This position is 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Retirement plan with Employer match up to 4%.Qualifications and Skills:HVAC Certification preferred but not requiredPlumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repair, unit turns and appliances repairSkills in customer service and reasoningMust be self-motivated and willing to take initiativeAbility to read, interpret documents and do basic mathComputer, working knowledge for time clocks, online orderingResponsibilities and Duties:Perform light electrical, plumbing and carpentry work, painting, drywall repair, install bathroom and kitchen faucets and fixturesSome carpet and linoleum repairsPerform custodial and grounds workKeep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections and inventoriesPositive interaction with residentsPerform light maintenance on appliancesAssist with unit inspections to ensure compliance with LIHTC and HUD Standard
