See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: Under moderate supervision, perform a variety of production assemblies that are highly repetitive, simple, and short-cycle mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly following a prescribed routine. They are assembled in a fast-paced environment using small hand tools, screws, torque guns, and other job-related assembly aids per/ Work Instructions. The job involves a testing and packing process after being completed. Work from drawings or specifications and may interface with engineering. May rotate stations in a work cell and/or is expected to have mastery of all steps in a process. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Mechanically inclined with basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills Work in a team environment, follow directions, read work instructions, and prepare packing materials Gather materials, select programs, change fixtures, and adjust the test machine to perform tasks Perform difficult assembly tasks while standing for the shift duration Run parts, inspect for defects, troubleshoot, and communicate issues as they arise, and make required adjustments Employee may be required to train on other shifts Expected to work safely and follow company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment Must have normal to high manual dexterity skills Must be able to use hand tools, scales, and other process-related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses, and torque guns. Some hand tools require the operator to be ambidextrous Moderate lifting up to 50lbs, lifting assistance is provided when necessary Fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping small, medium, and large parts Operator must have a full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back to perform job duties Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours High School Diploma or GED equivalent Computer literate Must have the ability to communicate in English; excellent written and verbal communication is required. Working Conditions: Manufacturing setting. Requires standing for long periods based upon business needs. Temperature controlled environment. Pay Range: $20.63 - $24.49 The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
