Senior Tax Associate

Senior Tax AccountantWe are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our collaborative and growth-oriented team. In this role, you will prepare and review complex tax returns, research technical tax issues, manage tax engagements, and mentor junior team members. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality tax services while maintaining compliance with professional standards and contributing to the success of the team.Prepare, review, and consolidate complex tax returns with minimal supervision.Research, analyze, and document complex tax issues and provide appropriate recommendations.Assist with engagement follow-up to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members throughout engagements.Delegate assignments, oversee work quality, and ensure timely completion of projects.Mentor and coach junior staff by providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback.Manage engagement fieldwork and oversee project execution from planning through completion.Prepare technical tax memorandums identifying issues, analysis, and conclusions.Maintain compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and professional ethics.Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure is preferred but not required.Competitive salary.Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.Career development and professional growth opportunities.CPA exam reimbursement and bonus opportunities.Paid professional dues and licensing support.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with profit-sharing opportunities.Flexible dress code.Team events and employee engagement activities.
