Multi-Housing Analyst, Capital Markets - Investment Sales Advisory

Investment Sales Advisory Analyst – Capital Markets JLL, a Fortune 500 real estate services firm, is seeking a highly-motivated candidate to join our Capital Markets team focused on the sale of multifamily assets. The role involves underwriting, market research, property tours, and preparing offering memorandums, marketing materials, and term sheets, as well as negotiating closings and client meetings. Main Responsibilities Prepare investment sales advisory packages for multifamily assets, including research, financial modeling, and composition of executive summaries. Perform complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions using market data and JLL comps to correctly underwrite deals. Manage the due diligence process and drive through marketing and closing processes, maintaining constant communication with Producers, market, and clients. Utilize databases to identify trends and prepare pitches and meetings. Review real estate documents (rent rolls, financial statements, leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to identify issues and recommend solutions. Develop and recommend creative marketing strategies and positioning for Producers. Build client network through meetings, events, and participation in real‑estate trade organizations. Participate in weekly office meetings with Producers to discuss deal flow, status, market conditions, and new client leads. Other duties as assigned. Experience Required 1–3 years of experience in a financial analysis environment; mortgage or commercial real estate industry preferred. Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and strong time‑management skills to prioritize deadlines. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills; able to interface with top‑level executives. Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information. Works independently while supporting a team‑player culture. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of third‑party databases such as Costar, Axiometrics, Real Capital Analytics, and Yardi is a plus. Database experience is a plus. Environment & Location Office-based: work with computers, copiers, and scanners. Based in JLL’s San Francisco office; in‑person 5 days per week. Location: San Francisco, CA (on‑site). Compensation Estimated compensation: $75,000 – $100,000 USD per year. Final pay will be based on qualifications, market and internal considerations.
