Job Description The Construction Lead Estimator will be responsible for: Reporting directly to the Director of Estimating Working hand-in-hand with the Project Management team Generating conceptual, schematic, lump sum, GMP, design development, and other types of estimates Creating and maintaining strong relationships with repeat/potential clients Attend meetings and contribute to presentations MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The Estimator Healthcare/Academic projects will have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Estimating, specifically leading Healthcare or Academic construction projects. Strong knowledge of healthcare and academic construction processes, codes, and regulations. Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project, on-screen takeoff). Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget and schedule constraints. Solid understanding of construction contracts, risk management, and legal requirements. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure. Attention to detail, with a focus on quality assurance and compliance.
