Position Summary The HR Manager at Old Wisconsin Sausage will serve as a strategic business partner to the plant operations team, overseeing the HR function for two manufacturing facilities, a distribution center, and a retail store. This role requires a blend of HR expertise, leadership skills, and operational understanding to support the company’s goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the HR function for two manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management. Own the administration and execution of the safety program for all locations. Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Utilize HRIS systems effectively to maintain employee records and generate reports. Support compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processing and compliance with regulatory requirements. Work with the Training Coordinator to develop and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including the company’s social compliance audits and handbook updates. Promote a positive work environment through initiatives that foster employee engagement and retention, and assist with planning events, communication, and recognition. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred. 5+ years of proven experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment. Strong HRIS proficiency; experience with HRIS implementation is a plus. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Additional Requirements Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
