Job Title: First Assist Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Certified Surgical Technologist Certifications: Open heart experience required Must-Have: - Experience in open heart surgery - Experience in total knee, hip, shoulder, spine surgeries - Experience with robotic systems, specifically XI Da Vinci Description: We are seeking a skilled First Assist Surgical Technologist. The ideal candidate will have experience in open heart procedures. Candidates must possess certifications as a Surgical Technologist. Experience with a variety of surgical specialties is required. This position is located in a community hospital setting. The facility features 171 beds and is a regional referral center. The role includes participation in weekend call rotations based on staffing requirements. Expected patient case volumes range from 10 to 25 per day. This includes total joints, spine, robotics, OB/GYN, urology, general surgery, and plastics. Candidates should prepare to float within a 25-mile radius if required.
