Northwestern Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position. This role is critical in providing essential support to clients navigating complex challenges such as neglect, domestic violence, mental health disorders, and parental substance abuse. You will utilize your clinical skills to assess client needs, provide crisis intervention, and develop comprehensive care plans while working from the comfort of your own home.

Work Environment\nThis remote position allows you to work from your home in Las Vegas, Nevada, while being an integral part of our Hospice Center’s multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients over the phone and during in-person visits, collecting vital information to create individualized care plans. \n
- Provide ongoing support and guidance, helping clients engage in therapeutic activities that promote mental well-being and enhance coping strategies. \n
- Deliver crisis intervention as needed, utilizing effective communication techniques to de-escalate difficult situations. \n
- Make referrals to relevant agencies and services to ensure clients receive comprehensive support tailored to their needs. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, complying with agency policies and procedures. \n
- Participate actively in training sessions, supervision meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings to foster continuous professional growth and collaboration. \n
- Identify and report any signs of child abuse or neglect, contributing to the safety and protection of vulnerable populations within our community. \n
Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with severe life-altering challenges, such as mental health issues stemming from trauma, substance abuse, and complicated family dynamics. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals and families, helping them navigate the complexities of their situations and empowering them to seek and accept help.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required. \n
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada. \n
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a strong preference for experience in hospice, palliative care, or related settings. \n
- Expertise in risk assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to diverse populations. \n
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on active listening and empathy. \n
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, enabling you to handle multiple cases effectively. \n

- Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are highly desirable to better serve our diverse client base. \n
- Previous experience in hospice care or with end-of-life issues will enhance your ability to connect with clients in this setting. \n
