Substitute CustodianThe Austin Public School District is seeking to hire substitute custodians to be available on call, as needed throughout the school year. APS is a world-class public school system located in Austin, MN. We employ over 800 full- and part-time employees and serve over 5000 students from diverse backgrounds.Position Detail: Responsible for performing routine custodial activities and routine grounds work such as cleaning the inside of classrooms, sweeping, vacuuming & mopping floors, washing desks and counters and washing white & black boards. Cleaning, vacuuming, mopping and sanitizing restrooms, kitchen, offices, gymnasium, etc. Strip & wax floors. Emptying garbage cans throughout building. Performing general maintenance such as changing light bulbs, moving furniture, shoveling snow, etc. Event set-up and take down.
