Child Therapist

The populations we serve are diverse, ranging from young children and adolescents to adults and seniors. Position Summary We are seeking a licensed Child Therapist to work with latency-age children (ages 5 and older). The ideal candidate is skilled in child development, play-based interventions, and family collaboration, and is comfortable integrating Christian faith perspectives into therapy when appropriate. Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to children ages 5+ using developmentally appropriate approaches (e.g., play therapy, CBT, trauma-informed care) Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with parents/caregivers to support progress and provide guidance Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation via Simple Practice Coordinate care with schools, pediatricians, and other providers as needed Integrate Christian faith perspectives into treatment in a respectful, client-centered manner (based on client preference) Participate in case consultation and team meetings Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field Experience working with children ages 5+ Training or experience in play therapy strongly preferred Knowledge of child development and family systems Alignment with and comfort working within a Christian counseling framework Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in child appropriate therapy techniques Experience with anxiety, behavioral issues, trauma, and/or ADHD Experience engaging parents in the therapeutic process What We Offer Supportive, collaborative team environment Competitive compensation (fee split) Faith-integrated workplace culture #J-18808-Ljbffr Bruce Turnquist Psy.D & Associates
