Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Educate patients and families on speech language pathology interventions.
• Participate in discharge planning and provide appropriate recommendations for ongoing care.
• Utilize Epic charting system for accurate documentation of patient progress.

Qualifications

• Current CCC-SLP certification required.
• Valid BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, including 1 year in a hospital setting.
• Experience in acute care settings is necessary.
• Experience with pediatric populations in hospitals, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
• Proficiency with alternative communication devices and techniques.
