Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 36 hours/week, alternating weekends, 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ICU nursing, with experience in managing high-acuity patients. Our unit focuses on providing exceptional care and monitoring for critical patients, utilizing advanced medical technologies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, hemodynamics, and other vital indicators.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures, including central line insertion and chest tube maintenance.
• Assist with procedures such as cardioversion and bronchoscopy.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and family members regarding patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ICU experience required.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in titration of vesicant medications, familiarity with pressors, sedation, and paralytics.
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and telemetry interpretation is essential.
• Understanding of advanced hemodynamics, PA catheter setup, and interpretation.
• No certifications required; CCRN, IABP, Impella, and CRRT appreciated.
