Sr. Programmer Analyst

Advent Global Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst to analyze and review user requirements to improve security and user help systems. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts, as well as experience with standard occupational tools to perform the following duties: Coordinate and configure modules based on the business requirements, guiding ABAP Programs, Gap Analysis & writing functional or technical specifications. Coordinate with offshore or onsite teams. Coordinating and preparing Blue print, Design, Functional or Technical Specification Review. Analyze, design, and develop systems. Review design documents using SAP and develop application in SAP-ECC, SRM,PI, ARIBA, PLM, HANA. Coordinate resource requirements, develop estimates and work plans and provide for deliverables, schedules, communications and quality of implementation project. Upgrade different SAP versions and work on SPAD, SPAU and SPAU_ENH and fix version related issues. Analyze trace files (system & database) & track the issue to solve the problem. Assign & review the work of Junior Programmer Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Programmers. Develop comp info resources. Evaluate the organizations technology use & needs & recommend improvements. Meet with department heads to solicit cooperation & resolve problems. Master's degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field of study, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s). In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related position providing the required skills and abilities. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. In addition, qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, knowledge, skill, and experience with the following:

1. SAP SECURITY INCLUDING ECC AND BW

2. SAP MODULES INCLUDING FI/CO, SD, QM

3. SAP BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR OTC, P2P

4. GOVERNANCE RISK AND COMPLIANCE (GRC)

No travel; no telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
