Sourcing SpecialistOur client, a leading organization in the retail supply chain sector, is seeking a dedicated Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be part of the Sourcing department supporting Fresh Meat (Beef & Poultry) operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Cincinnati, OH (In Office)Pay Rate: $39.13Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmWhat's the Job?Support Fresh Meat sourcing operations by monitoring supplier performance, identifying risks, and enabling execution of sourcing and supply continuity plans.Support Sourcing Manager in developing supplier performance and continuous improvement targets, including managing scorecards.Administer supplier assessments, scorecards, and analytics to effectively manage supplier performance.Prepare planning guides to facilitate negotiations and support sourcing activities as needed.Conduct day-to-day sourcing analysis, cost benefit tracking, and develop different award optimization scenarios to minimize total costs.What's Needed?Experience in direct sourcing, supply chain, or category management, preferably in fresh meat or perishable categories.Strong analytical capabilities, including Excel-based reporting, cost analysis, and supplier performance measurement.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and solve operational problems in a fast-paced environment.Ability to identify supply risks, gaps in fill rate, and inventory flow issues, escalating as necessary.Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in food, grocery, retail, or supply chain environments is highly valued.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting critical supply chain functions.Engage in meaningful analytical work that impacts sourcing strategies and operational efficiency.Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals committed to excellence.Gain valuable experience in the retail and supply chain industry.Work at a reputable organization with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
