Job Details Position: Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Acute Care Cardiac Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit Location: Show Low, Arizona Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 11/02/2026 Shift: 12-hour nights Shifts Per Week: 3 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200 Openings: 2 Job Requirements Active RN license At least 2 years of experience in Telemetry and/or Med-Surg acute care preferred; 3 years preferred Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Experience caring for progressive care, stepdown, or telemetry patients Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a telemetry-focused patient population Ability to adapt quickly in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment BSN not required Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients Monitor telemetry patients and validate rhythm interpretations as needed Administer and manage medications commonly used in stepdown care Care for patients with diagnoses such as AMI, stroke/TIA, pneumonia, renal disease, atrial fibrillation with RVR, SIRS, and diabetes Collaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care Float to other medical-surgical units as needed Document care accurately using the facility charting system Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on patient safety and quality outcomes Apply now to join this rewarding Cardiac Stepdown travel nurse opportunity in Show Low, Arizona, and take the next step in your acute care nursing career.
