Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

Part-Time Retail Merchandiser – Skokie, IL Overview Join ActionLink and help create engaging product displays across major retail stores. Responsibilities Complete display projects at assigned retail stores. Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays. Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel. Schedule up to 20 hours per week, Monday‑Thursday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm (no weekends or evenings). Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and photos for each visit. Potential to work additional hours covering larger regions or travel. Compensation & Benefits General merchandising projects paid $17.00 per hour. Higher rates for additional technical projects. W‑2 employment with bi‑weekly pay and direct deposit. Optional 401(k) plan with company match. Travel reimbursement for store‑to‑store mileage. Paid training provided. Accrue PTO hours each week worked. Qualifications Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience desirable. Versatile; able to handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory. Attention to detail; follows written instructions and display diagrams. Independent yet collaborative with a small team when needed. Tech‑ready with internet access, hand‑held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device (latest OS). Laptop/desktop access is a plus. Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and willingness to use vehicle for duties. Physical capability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
