Job description:

Set-up, troubleshoot and maintain production on CNC Mills. Machine parts to required tolerances and complete machine set-ups efficiently. Provide troubleshooting and set-up assistance to other team members.

Responsibilities

· Perform set-ups on 5-Axis Matsuura and Okuma milling machines.

· Provide some technical support to mill operators.

· Produce production parts.

· Maintain close tolerances on precise parts.

· Interpret prints and specifications

· Inspect and record results to ensure product is within specification.

· Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

Qualifications

· Be able to communicate effectively.

· Be able to understand and follow standards, protocols, and procedures without excessive instruction.

· Must be detail-oriented.

· Be able to cooperate with all co-workers and staff.

· Be mechanically inclined.

· Be able to work overtime on Fridays as needed.

· Under limited supervision, must be able to do first-time-run-through of programs ensure proper documentation and setup information for repeat runs.

· Experience with common measurement tools (Micrometers, calipers, vision systems)

· Experience with CNC Mills.
