Your Role
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions designed to enhance mobility, build strength, improve balance, and promote functional abilities
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to foster the best outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and exercises for home
  • Record evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in light of facility guidelines and regulatory standards
  • Participate in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to maintain coordinated patient care
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar qualification from an accredited institution
Licenses and Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is preferred
  • Additional certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Essential Skills
  • Previous practice experience is highly favorable
  • Expertise in treating patients with complex medical conditions and mobility challenges
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in digital charting and clinical documentation systems
