- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans
- Deliver physical therapy interventions designed to enhance mobility, build strength, improve balance, and promote functional abilities
- Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to foster the best outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and exercises for home
- Record evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in light of facility guidelines and regulatory standards
- Participate in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to maintain coordinated patient care
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar qualification from an accredited institution
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification is preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Previous practice experience is highly favorable
- Expertise in treating patients with complex medical conditions and mobility challenges
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in digital charting and clinical documentation systems
