Commercial HVAC company with over 23 years in business seeking a Senior Service Technician who specializes in servicing HVAC systems at commercial sites, operating mostly independently while occasionally training junior staff. This role demands a licensed technician skilled in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and preventive care to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction within varied commercial environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC equipment efficiently
- Troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose problems accurately
- Install new HVAC systems following company standards
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Support customers with technical expertise and clear communication
- Work independently while ensuring safety compliance
- Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance team capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a service technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Service Technician License
- Strong skills in mechanical repair and electrical systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and team leadership abilities
- Knowledge of safety standards relevant to commercial environments
