Role Description The Sales Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The Sales Agent will engage with prospective and existing clients, using company-provided leads to present insurance solutions, explain coverage options, and guide customers through the enrollment process. Daily activities include conducting outbound and inbound calls, building and maintaining a book of business, following up on leads, and documenting interactions in accordance with company and carrier standards. The role also involves collaborating with team members, participating in ongoing training, staying current on products and industry guidelines, and working toward individual and team sales goals. Sales Agents are expected to uphold ethical sales practices, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to a positive, high-performance office culture.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
- Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, problem-solving, and building long-term client relationships.
- Sales skills, including prospecting, closing, negotiation, and goal-oriented performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Insurance knowledge or the ability to quickly learn insurance products, with any relevant licensing considered an advantage.
- Training readiness and openness to continuous learning, coaching, and participation in structured sales and product training.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Tampa Bay Area and maintain a professional presence in a team-oriented office setting.
- Basic computer proficiency, including CRM or sales software, email, and document management tools.
- Prior experience in sales, brokerage, or financial services is beneficial but not strictly required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
