Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and support IBM z/OS operating systems and related subsystems. Perform system IPL activities, upgrades, migrations, patches, and preventive maintenance. Manage and support

JES2/JES3

, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, RACF, VTAM, TCP/IP, HCD, and system automation tools. Monitor system performance and capacity planning activities to ensure optimal availability and reliability. Perform storage management and DASD administration using DFSMS concepts. Troubleshoot system issues, analyze dumps/logs, and resolve production incidents. Support disaster recovery exercises, backup, recovery, and business continuity initiatives. Implement automation and operational improvements using REXX, JCL, and scripting tools. Coordinate with application teams, vendors, and infrastructure groups during implementations and upgrades. Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and operational procedures. Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support when required. Key Requirements and Technology Experience 7 years of experience in IBM Mainframe Systems Programming. SMP/E
