Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable schedule with 1:1 patient ratio; weekend and call coverage to be discussed during interview. Floating within facility scope of practice and to outpatient settings as needed.

Highlights:

• Diverse surgical service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral Surgery, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Orientation provided with non-billable hours factored by contract length
• Georgia or Compact RN license accepted; local candidates welcome
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; must be finalized at time of submission

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel assignment
• Mandatory experience in Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic surgical procedures
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Experience with procedures including craniotomy, transplant surgeries, joint replacements, spinal fusions, hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and trauma cases
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Full compliance documentation required to start on time

• Holiday blackout dates apply: November 23-29 and December 21-January 3
• No holiday requested time off will be approved during assignment

• Compliance documents must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing, with final deadline on Tuesday prior to start date
• Orientation cannot be missed; non-compliant candidates will experience a 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
