Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our nursing home team as an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) / HR . This dual-role position provides hands-on experience in long-term care operations while supporting essential human resources functions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role within a skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Administrator with daily operations of the nursing home
- Support compliance with state and federal regulations
- Coordinate recruitment, interviews, and hiring of nursing home staff
- Manage onboarding, orientation, and employee records
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and employee relations
- Support payroll and benefits administration
- Participate in quality assurance and resident care initiatives
- Ensure a positive work environment for staff and quality care for residents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Interest in long-term care leadership and HR
- Prior experience in healthcare or HR (preferred)
