What You'll Do

As an Assembly Worker, you'll play a key role in the production process by assembling precision automotive components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble turbocharger components and subassemblies following detailed work instructions

• Use hand tools, power tools, electric wrenches, and other assembly equipment

• Load and unload parts from automated machinery and production fixtures

• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications

• Rotate between assembly stations every few hours to learn different processes and keep work engaging

• Align, secure, and fasten components using electric tools and equipment

• Move materials and components throughout the production area as needed

• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or mechanical experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Ability to read and follow work instructions

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Reliable work history with proven job stability

Preferred Experience

• Automotive assembly or component manufacturing experience

• Experience working in high-volume production environments

• Ability to learn multiple workstations and adapt to changing production needs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.35/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
