Customer Service Specialist

Connexus Energy is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to serve our members as the first point of contact, providing them with exceptional service to ensure the best member experience possible. This role is responsible for answering member phone calls, analyzing data, and resolving residential and business member inquiries, while promoting programs and services.
Location:
Work for this position can be performed both on-site at our campus located at 14601 Ramsey Blvd, Ramsey, MN 55303, and from your local home office as duties require. While this position is designated as a hybrid role, based on current policy, hires must reside in or relocate within commuting distance to our office in Ramsey, MN.
Compensation:
The anticipated hiring range for this role is between $20.78 and $23.37 per hour. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidates qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of annual earnings based on company performance.
In this position you will:
Manage external member relationships, using multiple types of communication channels. Analyze, answer and resolve member issues to create quality member relationships.Collect delinquent residential and commercial accounts in a timely and professional manner, and within all appropriate guidelines.Promote and educate members on Conservation Improvement Programs (CIP) which align with our corporate strategic goals. Discuss our current incentives which are available or deemed a priority by Connexus and encourage members to participate in applicable programs.Communicate and work effectively with other departments and the community to meet our members needs.Need to have:
High school diploma or equivalentTwo or more years experience in a customer service roleComputer experience, including the ability to use and toggle between multiple screens, and a working knowledge of Word, Excel and OutlookNice to have:
Inbound and outbound call center and/or collection experienceExperience in a high-volume, inbound call centerAbility to effectively work within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of departmental goalsMust be focused on continuous learning, productivity and is results-orientedPre-Employment Requirement: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screen
