We are committed to providing exceptional skilled nursing and rehabilitation services while creating a supportive environment where residents and employees thrive.As an RN, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing nursing operations, delivering high-quality resident care, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.Why Join Napa Valley Care Center?Competitive pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hourFlexible scheduling optionsMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits for eligible employeesPaid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay401(k) Retirement PlanSupportive leadership team and collaborative work environmentOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunities for career advancementEmployee recognition programsRN ResponsibilitiesClinical & Resident CareProvide direct nursing care and clinical oversight to residents.Assess resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.Monitor resident progress and ensure individualized care plans are followed.Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges.Start IVs and obtain specimens as ordered.Participate in care planning, assessments, and discharge planning.Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.Leadership & SupervisionSupervise and support Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).Ensure adequate staffing and assignment coverage during the shift.Conduct rounds and monitor quality of care provided by nursing staff.Assist with staff training, coaching, and orientation.Promote a positive team culture focused on resident-centered care.Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary departments to maintain quality outcomes.Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.Support infection prevention and safety initiatives.Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.Complete incident reports and follow-up documentation as needed.Assist during regulatory surveys and audits.QualificationsRequiredActive, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseCurrent CPR/BLS CertificationGraduate of an accredited nursing programStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environmentPreferredMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care settingTraining or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursingExperience with PCC (PointClickCare) electronic health recordsAbout Napa Valley Care CenterAt Napa Valley Care Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and improving the quality of life for our residents.
