Tax Manager - Private Client Services

Job Description EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services (PCS) team in Boston or San Francisco. The role requires a professional who thrives in a growing environment and provides clients with exceptional services. Responsibilities Leading, planning and supervising multiple engagements, including consulting, compliance, and tax planning services. Assisting with and managing IRS and state audits as well as responses to notifications as needed. Guiding clients and firm members through complex tax rules and regulations. Consulting with the engagement team to promote new ideas and innovative planning opportunities to clients. Managing client communications and relationships. Participating in and actively contributing to new business development activities. Training, supervising, and mentoring other interns and associates on the team. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field. 4+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a mix of public/private experience. CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or parts passed toward completion, or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification. Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and/or entities. Preferred/Desired Qualifications Master’s Degree in Taxation or a relevant field. 1+ year of experience managing staff. Experience using ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, XCM, or similar tax software.
