What’s a typical day as a Quality Inspector? You’ll be:

• Inspecting components to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Recording all defects found on the bench, pallet, or shipping dock, and obtaining appropriate signatures.
• Alerting operators of all defects found during inspection.
• Monitoring both the quality produced by the assembler and your own quality of work.
• Writing up defects for returned brakes, including all associated names.
• Supporting quality, safety, and production goals and requirements.
• Participating in continual improvement efforts and performing other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Bring at least three years of industrial quality manufacturing experience (required).
• Are able to perform computer functions as required.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prefer candidates with leadership and quality training experience.
• Are familiar with blueprint reading, layout practices, gage control, and coordinate measuring machine experience (preferred).
• Are comfortable working in a factory environment and using personal protective equipment.
• Can frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Are committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
