A&P Maintenance Technician

Job Description

An Aircraft Maintenance Technician II/III will support heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification activities on corporate aircraft. This individual will work closely with a team of experienced maintenance professionals to ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with FAA regulations and company quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

Perform advanced troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and maintenance on corporate aircraft systems and structures

Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframe, powerplant, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

Participate in engine runs, operational checks, incoming aircraft evaluations, and final delivery inspections

Read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and FAA regulations

Remove, install, test, and repair aircraft components and systems

Identify and troubleshoot complex aircraft discrepancies

Assist with mentoring and training less experienced technicians when applicable

Document maintenance activities accurately and ensure compliance with FAA and company requirements

Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Skills and Requirements

Must Have Qualifications

AMT II Level

Active FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) License required

2-4 years of aviation maintenance experience

Experience performing maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems

Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical documentation, and FAA regulations (FARs)

Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Ability to work assigned off-shift schedules

Reliable transportation and willingness to work in Perryville, MO

AMT III Level

Active FAA Airframe License required

FAA Powerplant License strongly preferred

4-6+ years of aviation maintenance experience

Strong troubleshooting experience across aircraft systems

Experience performing heavy maintenance and major inspections

Knowledge of FAA regulations (FARs) and maintenance compliance requirements

Ability to independently perform routine and advanced maintenance assignments

Experience mentoring or assisting junior technicians Plusses

Corporate aviation maintenance experience

Experience supporting:

Bombardier Challenger aircraft (300, 350, 605)

Gulfstream aircraft

Citation aircraft

Hawker aircraft

Factory training or factory school certifications on corporate aircraft platforms

Engine run qualifications

Additional aircraft platform-specific certifications

Previous MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) experience

Leadership or crew lead experience

Graduate of an aviation maintenance program or apprenticeship academy
