POSITION SUMMARY:

General environmental duties, wall washing, bed and room cleaning, discharge cleaning, trash removal.

JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Required to work in the OR and perform all duties associated with the operating room assignment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize responsibilities. Must be able to work in a team environment. Duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read and write simple English; Understand and follow verbal/written instructions. Must be able to speak, read and write English in order to comprehend in-services and department literature. Customer service oriented. Heavy physical effort – lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling. As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs.
