Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit within a tertiary teaching hospital environment
• Support Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery functions at a Level I experience setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery, intervening as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and standards of care with no special schedule accommodations

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) – required, documentation needed
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) – required, documentation needed
• NRP certification – required, documentation needed
• STABLE certification – required, documentation needed
• AWHONN certification – required, documentation needed
• Must not be currently working another job concurrently
• Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted rate structure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with high-volume or tertiary-level hospital environments
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and protocols
