Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Bethany Library - Bethany, OK 73008 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $16.62 - $16.62 Hourly Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Summary Under the direction of the Access Manager, the Access Specialist assists members by issuing and receiving library materials, locating books and other materials, managing members’ library accounts, issuing library cards, providing information about library accounts and services, assisting with self‑service equipment and technology, and assisting with basic collection maintenance. Location & Hours The position will be assigned to the Bethany Library at 6700 NW 35th St, Bethany, OK 73008. Availability is required during all library open hours, including some weekends and evenings. Current work schedule: Monday and Tuesday 2:00–7:00 pm, Wednesday 2:00–6:00 pm, Sunday 12:00–6:00 pm. Hours are subject to change based on library needs. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED One or more years of customer service experience Preferred Qualifications and Competencies Experience with an automated circulation system Strong desire to work with and help people Salary and Benefits The hiring salary is $16.62 hourly. This is a half‑time position working 20 hours per week and is not exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
