What You'll Do

Support clinical interventions for patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Administer treatments including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
Assess patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes to therapists
Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding physical health
Document all treatments accurately in the electronic documentation system
Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education sessions
Support and supervise students under therapist guidance as needed

What You Need

Required:

Current State Licensure as a PTA
Prior experience supporting patients in rehabilitative settings
Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

Experience working in long-term care environments
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
