Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Practice Location: Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. No other surgery centers or locations to provide coverage at.

Office Hours/Work Schedule: 4 days/week with rotating call. Monday Friday 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. (cases start at 7:30 a.m.), hours may extend past 3:30 p.m. with Surgery add-on cases.

Staffing: 8 Anesthesiologists, 20 CRNAs.

Call Schedule: Rotating weekday call every other week. 1:10 weekend call. Weekday call 7:00 a.m. 7:00 a.m. Weekend call Friday 7:00 a.m. Monday 7:00 a.m. First call post day off.

Case Load: Case load depends on room. General Surgery, CRNAs occasionally assist in cardiac, but MDA is the primary provider. Thoracic, Vascular, OB/maternity, Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Urology, Peds mostly for ENT.
