This position offers 12-hour night shifts, with weekends and holidays scheduled as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team in the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (PICU/NICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care treatments including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, Hamilton, and Servo ventilators.
• Perform airway management and facilitate intrahospital transport of patients.
• Carry out all aspects of respiratory care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Assist in the intubation process as needed, while primarily supporting medical staff during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 4 NICU or PICU environment.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is acceptable.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
