Position Title: Data Integration Engineer

The client seeks highly technical resources to serve as Data Integration, API, and ETL developers responsible for creating real-time, on-demand, batch, and scheduled data interfaces and processing between internal and external systems and applications.
This Integration/Interface Engineer position must be well-organized and able to manage multiple technical, business, and testing efforts. Duties include requirements gathering, solution design and implementation, and supporting go-live and post-implementation activities

Skills
Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and/or MuleSoft or Boomi
Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
Experience with enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, JMS, MQ, XML, JSON, and API development.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Solid understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, technical sizing, scalability, and high availability.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools such as Git.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Description
Roles/Responsibilities

Trying to launch a new software for personalization for plasma donations
Software that goes on the machine- some customers asked for some of the procedures to be personalized for specific donors- this software will allow it
A LOT of requirements, specs- they need to work with the team on what needs to be released first, do the design history files, (FDA submission), need to know how to release this so we can meet the standards
Software is both firmware backend and User interface to the software - If candidates can do this with firmware software release experience, they can easily do a UI software release
If they worked in med device as an engineer, they'll be familiar with this process (Exit reviews) etc but they need to have the PM skills on top of it
Manage software projects
Know what its like to release software to commercial- in dev phase, they need to do scope lock, review software requirements, Software stacks, guide the team through the process of this release
Will have to go through "gate exit reviews" - typical for software PMs
Get along with a lot of people, patience, open minded, bring team together
One specific project
20 people cross functionally
Has a project plan in place- Smartsheet - Theres a high level one, will be completed by the time this person starts likely
