Nurse Practitioner - NP - Bariatric Surgery

SSM Health Weight Management Services (WMS) on the campus of SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide non-surgical weight loss clinical support for its program, which opened in 2006. WMS program offers surgical and non-surgical solutions to weight loss and has performed 7,000 life changing bariatrics surgeries and has comprehensive wraparound services including RD and LPC to support patients on their journey. Seeking a Nurse Practitioner who will have the passion for practicing in the field of weight loss management. New graduates welcomed. Candidates who will bring positivity, encouragement, and the ability to change patients lives through improved health and efficiency of practice are desired.Most patients are self-referring and become patients for life.

Opportunity:

• Join a team of 3 Bariatric Surgeons, 1 Non-Surgical Physician, and 3 NPs 
• 100% outpatient clinical practice primarily based on the campus of SSM Health DePaul Hospital with some potential support at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO
• See patients in the clinic, maintain My Charts, and review labs
• Full-time position offering flexibility of work schedule
• Anticipate seeing 15-18 patients per day once onboarding is completed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• New graduates welcomed who have an interest in weight management
• Active Missouri RN & APRN licensure (NP) or ability to obtain
• Prefer OMA Certified in Weight Management
