Registered Nurse/Critical Care Float

Travel Nurse Position

Unit Details: These positions will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, & Stepdown/PCU.

Floating: This is a float pool position- Ratios up to 1:7 in Med-Surg

Weekend: Every other

Call: None

Schedule Request: Due to pool staffing, candidate must be flexible. No block schedule requests

Minimum Experience: 2 years. Unit accepts first time travelers

Aya Offer: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. Aya offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements. RTO: Max 7 days

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays are listed below:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Years Eve/New Years Day

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Locals accepted - Same rate

Please note: Number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 10hrs for 10 week assignment)
